LACEfilms: Film retrospective on Artur Brauer

The Goethe-Institut/Max Mueller Bhavan, in collaboration with LACEfilms, presentsFilm retrospective on Artur Brauner

Artur Brauner is arguably the most influential film producer of post-war Germany. From the beginning of his career, he was driven to produce films honouring the victims of the Third Reich. When the Nazis invaded Lódz, Poland, Brauner's home town; they killed forty-nine of his relatives. For this Goethe-Institut series, Artur Brauner has selected ten of the most outstanding films resulting from his lifelong endeavour to honour the victims of Hitler's regime.


The screenings, conveniently spread over two weekends, will be followed by discussion, moderated by cineastes from LACEfilms a great opportunity for film buffs in Bangalore.
Entry is free. Passes are available at Max Mueller Bhavan and Suchitra Film Society Auditorium. Hurry, limited passes.
