Volunteers for CUPA Rehab Centre: Please pass on!
CUPA (Compassion Unlimited Plus Action http://www.cupabangalore.org/) has an animal rehabilitation centre right next to Bannerghatta National Park where wounded animals are looked after before being returned to the wild/placed in favorable habitats. We had been there to take a wounded kite and were impressed with the work they do.
Saleem, the person in charge, who is doing fantastic work with the birds/animals, mainly manages the entire show with volunteers. And he needs a lot of them, to bring birds/animals to the shelter, help with running the place, get things from the city etc.
If you are an animal lover, and could spend a few hours on this once in a while in your free time/or serve as contact point to transport animals/birds, please call Saleem at 98450-70459.
