An Intensive workshop for 10 weekends
(starting from March 19 to May 22)

Workshop would deal with the entire process
(from picking up a script to putting up a production)

Scripting, Reading, Adaptation, Acting, Direction, Lighting, Sound, Management and Marketing

Workshop culminates with a production by the participants

Workshop will be conducted by Pawan Kumar. Pawan with ACTor has directed plays like Hare and the tortoise, The Invisible Man, Dinosaur, The Cause, You are your own savior, The Final Rehearsal, Evam Indrajit, Monologues and many more. Currently he is working on 'Sleuth' which will open in the month of June. He has conducted workshops in Bangalore and Mumbai in Body theatre, Scripting and Acting. Pawan has been involved in other productions as well in various capacities, Light designing, sound, set designing, scripting, adaptation and creations. The workshop would start with basics of theatre and progress into practicalities of doing theatre in Bangalore, thus equipping the participants with enough skills to pick up plays and perform. At the end of this workshop all the 15 participants will put up a performance at various venues in the city. 20 sessions, each of 6 hours duration. 10 weekends. A production at the end of the workshop which will do public shows. The workshop will happen at J.P Nagar.
