Ever tried Ragi Mudde?

On the Double Road leading to Lal Bagh Main gate (I mean the gate where you have the Kempegowda rock with the small tower on top, and the Nursery), on the left side, almost under the flyover, you have a small restaurant called Nagashree which serves Ragi mudde and Natti Chicken curry, along with various mutton dishes, green pallya, biriyani, and other local stuff. Great food, almost home-made-like in quality! Yes, there are a few vegetarian items too.

There will be a big banner right outside saying " Ragi Balls and Natti Chicken Curry", or whatever is the speciality of the day. Small place, gets crowded by 1.30 at lunch time. Quite inexpensive too.
Try it out! ( We tried the traditional swallowing method for the mudde, but ended up eating the normal way, needed more eductaion!! By the way, this is nice and filling food, without that heavy oiliness that makes you sleep in all the afternoon team meetings! - you just won't feel hungry for quite some time afterwards - no junk-craving at tea-time again after 3 or 4 ragi balls!)

P.S: If you know of any such nice not-so-well-known places, please write to us - will post here, acknowledge you, and link to your blog if you have one. Thanks!
